Q: Is there actually an Aunt Caroline??? A: Yes, there actually is. You can read about her and how this whole thing started on “The Story” page.
Q: Is Aunt Caroline’s BBQ Sauce available at all Whole Foods Markets (WFM)? A: At this time you can purchase our sauce at the WFM in Plymouth Meeting. If you want your local Whole Foods Market to carry our delicious BBQ Sauces...please ask them at the customer service desk to order it!!!
Q: What Sauces are available at Whole Foods Market? A: Sauces available at WFM right now are Aunt Caroline’s Original BBQ Sauce, and Aunt Caroline’s Blue Flame Hot BBQ. We are working on the others!!!
Q: What do I do with or how do I use your sauces? A: Well, click this link and check out our Suggested Uses Page.
Q: What is the shelf life of Aunt Caroline’s BBQ™ Sauces? A: Unopened a year +, opened in the fridge...three to four weeks.
Q: Why don’t you use plastic bottles? A: Well, not only do we care about the planet but we care about our customers as well...yes you! In order to keep you and the planet happy we will never use plastic “jars” to bottle our sauces.
Q: What is PA Preferred? A: Please take a look at their web site for information or questions you may have on the pa preferred program…PA Preferred.com.
Q: Do your BBQ Sauces contain MSG? A: No.
Q: Does Aunt Caroline’s have a retail location that I could come to and purchase the sauces? A: We do not have our own location at this time. However you can check out the where to buy page to see where else you can purchase our sauces! All Locations may not carry all of our flavors. If you know of any specialty shops, mom and pop shops, gourmet food stores, or small locally owned food stores in your area that you’d like to see our sauces in please drop us an e-mail and let us know where they are!
Q: Are you on Facebook? A: Yes we are? Click the box...
Q: Your labels say gluten free but on the ingredients label it states that the soy sauce, and vinegar have wheat in them. A: Our sauces have been tested for gluten by QC labs in Southampton, Pa. The results came back negative.
Distilled vinegar is made from distilled alcohol and all "pure" distilled alcohol is gluten free. This is true even if the starting material is wheat, barley, or rye.
Soy sauce is an ingredient within another ingredient that we use. There are gluten free soy sauces...which I believe is what that manufacturer uses.
