A:     We do not have our own location at this time.  However, you can check out the
stores page to see which
retail locations carry our sauces.  Flavors are selected by owners/managers of each store, therefore flavors will
vary by store.  You may want to call the store before you head out if you are looking for a specific flavor.

If you know of any specialty shops, mom and pop shops, gourmet food stores, or small locally owned food

Q:    Are your Sauces Gluten Free?
A:     All of our sauces, with the exception of our Bourbon BBQ, are gluten free.  We received the following response from the

manufacturer of the bourbon that we use in regards to gluten:

"Thanks for asking about a potential allergic reaction to gluten in our bourbon products. Our bourbon is made from the fermentation of corn, rye and malted barley.  The fermented “beer,” as it’s called in the trade, is then distilled and aged in oak barrels. While gluten can be found in the small grains, such as rye, barley, oats, etc., the process of distillation generally excludes gluten in the finished product.   People with celiac disease may have a permanent intolerance to gluten.  We do not advise legal age adults about whether or not to drink our products; this is a decision you may want to discuss with your physician if you have any questions. Your physician may be able to provide personalized advice about your question, based on the ingredients and processes that go into making our bourbon."

Q:    Your labels say gluten free, but on the ingredients label it states that the soy sauce,
and vinegar have wheat in them.
A:     Our sauces have been tested for gluten by QC Labs in Southampton, Pa.  The results came back negative.

Distilled vinegar is made from distilled alcohol and all "pure" distilled alcohol is gluten free.  This is true
even if the starting material is wheat, barley, or rye.  Soy sauce is an ingredient within another ingredient that
we use.  There are gluten free soy sauces, which is what is used.

Q:    There is a colored mark on the lid of my sauce, what is it?
A:     As most of you know, Aunt Caroline's BBQ does not mass produce, or pay someone else to mass produce

any of it's sauces.  Every jar is hand blended, hand poured, hand sealed, and hand labeled.  When
more than one flavor is produced in a single day, we need a way to distinguish the sauces that were made that
day.  The marks on the lids are color coded to each flavor so we know which label to apply later.
